Chuck Satterlee lives in Eastern Pennsylvania with his wife and son, two dogs and two cats. His comic career began in 1995 when we wrote the small press mini-series, AGONY ACRES. After that huge and well known success (NOT) he took some time to reflect on what to do with all of the money he made from the mini-series. (approximately $32.67) In 2005, he came back with a vengeance, coming out with OF BITTER SOULS and SMOKE & MIRROR at Speakeasy Comics. Sniffing out that something was wrong, he decided to go Markosia, where he also was named Director Of Operations. Two trade paperbacks were published for his two creator-owned series. He also took over THE LEXIAN CHRONICLES for Markosia. Soon after that, he was assigned the series HERETIC and works on the series with fellow SHOCKTRAUMANAUT, Bruce McCorkindale. Satterlee has a number of series coming out in the near future:

THE GRINDER w/ fellow Shocktraumanaut Max Riffner.

This fall, Chuck is also scribing the series KONG: KING OF SKULL ISLAND during the 75th anniversary of the famed icon.

And a number of others.

Recently, he also sold an option for OF BITTER SOULS to Kickstart Productions for television development.

He is still waiting to write Fantastic Four or Batman…so if you’re listening all you editors at DC and Marvel…
